Ask a Question

When I upload my images, they appear fine in the uploader and in my file manager. However when I insert into the cell the image is rotated and I am not able to figure out how to rotate the image back to normal.

Thanks

Hella

Download any of your templates and try to change the photo with the 20200727-163416306-ios.jpg and you will see that it loads sideways.
This is so thrust rating now, that I am holding off doing any work until this is corrected in the program

Hi,

I have added your test-5 image into the application and it was added in the same vertical orientation that the file was opened in. Please attach your project where the image is rotated incorrectly.

Hi,

If the image has the orientation you want in Paint and in Xara Designer X pro, save it as a new file (save as) and add it into the Nicepage Editor.

I'm sorry but this is simply not true. I just had a picture that has the right orientation in 5 different software programs, but still shows a 90° image. I am fed up with this, I have spent half of my time trying tro figure out how to add a BASIC SIMPLE image to a website. It's faster building a HTML site with image than using this tool. Yes I am very irritated that I have spend my money on a tool that can't rotate images. This should never be something you should think about. I had to go through hundres of pictures, half of them were randomly 90° oriented. Try it and you'll never want to use your own tool ever again.

Yes It does work - Open the image in paint, then save it, call it test 1, then open in Nicepage and it will display in the correct orientation.
However this does not correct the problem in Nicepage . Added her is the original photo and the one opened and saved in paint

Hi,

Nicepage always uses the image orientation that is included in the image information. So you need to edit the image. But we'll consider the option to add a rotate button in the application.

Hello, I have the same problem when importing images from my iphone that have always been portrait. Once imported they are fixed as rotated 90 degrees. And am unable to rotate them in nicepage. The only fix is sending images to PS > Saving > Then uploading. This is a drag, please fix this and consider developing in app photo editing to save time. This is a deal-breaker for customers like myself that are weighing nicepage up against the competition.

Hi,

The issue is usually related to the image specifications and should be fixed by using the Windows rotation for the image. If that does not work, attach the problem image to the ticket.

Hi

Although the problem is not yet fully solved, i have discovered that by opening the photo in Paint or Xara Designer Pro x and exporting it back, the photo then displays correct, and the photo attributes are still intact.
So I don't know what is actually going on here

Hi Gayle,

If you try to place the image in the browser, you will see the same thing. So we can't say that the issue in our Editor. This is the problem of the image itself, its properties. Please check all image properties again.

Hello
If someone was to help it, I succeeded, after removing all possible properties for the image.
Windows explorer - properties - delete properties (for image)

Now the photos are stuck correctly.

Regards

Netmark

Unfortunately this has not worked for me

Hi
I also have the same problem
I cant see why when an image is in portrait mode, that Nicepage cant display it the correct way
Even if Exif is removed, the problem still exists
The majority of my photo's are in portrait mode and dont have time to crop each one to landscape, loosing details

Hi,

This image has orientation in Exif. At this moment we don’t process this property, unfortunately. If you delete it yourself, the picture will not rotate when you upload it into Nicepage.
