Hi,
this would unfortunately break a White Label installation on a client`s site, when the client would be able to update.

Hi,

Usually, Joomla displays the following message when updates are available:

joomla-updates.png

This notification includes Nicepage plugin updates too.

Hello,
how will this be made impossible in White Label? I would not want, that one of my clients could update anything regarding Nicepage.

Hi,

White Label plugins do not support updating via CMS. Only basic Nicepage plugin can be updated via CMS admin panel.

Hi,
I tested this right away on a Joomla page, where I have a White Label plugin installed. I did not update, but tried to install the downloaded plugin. It is no problem to install the original Nicepage Plugin again. Now I have my white Label plugin and aside the recently installed nicepage original plugin.

I imagine a client with a site, where the White Label is installed doing this. I comes out in a real mess, even more if he would start to build other pages in the second installed Nicepage plugin.

Hi,

Yes, the Nicepage plug-in is recognized as a separate plug-in if you have the white-label plug-in installed on the site. But I'm not sure why your client could install the Nicepage plug-in on his own, the client usually does not know about the Nicepage brand as that is the point of using white-label option.
