Is woocommerce necessary?

If I am using Nicepage to build an e-commerce website through WordPress, and I'm using Bluehost for the hosting & domain, do I need to use Woocommerce?

Bluehost's website says that for an e-commerce store, you need their e-commerce addon for their hosting package. If I upgrade Nicepage to the Pro plan, is the shopping cart feature sufficient or do I still need to upgrade Bluehost to the e-commerce package?

Hi, Justin,

Nicepage allows building an e-commerce website without using any other tools such as WooCommerce. You only need to have an account in PayPal or Stripe to connect it to a website and receive payments.

The shopping cart feature is available for the Premium plans starting from Business. Anyway, could you please tell us what exact features you want to have on your e-commerce website?

I'm making a website for a friend and she sells baked goods. We're just looking to keep things simple and cost-effective. If I am able to purchase your Business license and she is able to accept payments through a secure payment gateway, that is exactly what we're looking for.

Another feature that I'm interested in is having a friend collaborate with me on the building of the website. I believe this would require the Pro version as that comes with web-based licensing, correct? So, I would be able to give him 1 of the 10 licenses which would allow him the ability to work from the web-based program, right? The Business plan says that it allows for people to generate content, I am assuming that is only images, text, and blogs. Is that correct as well? I appreciate any clarification that you're able to provide.

Well, I will consider purchasing the business plan. I will NOT be purchasing the pro plan. Your support leaves me doubtful about the support of the software.

I have another forum post open and someone replied, just as you did... and I still haven't received a subsequent response and it's been two days. After I get finished with this website I will be looking into other software for my needs. Thank you.

Yes, the client license feature is available only for the Pro and Ultimate plans. However, please note that this feature works only for the Nicepage plugin in WordPress and Joomla. Unfortunately, there is no such feature for the Desktop and Online app so far.

I suppose that you mean Content Editors. At the moment, this feature is in development, and we hope that it will be released as soon as possible.
