Trouble Changing Checkbox Color

I'm not sure if this is a bug or not, but every time I try to change the text color of my checkbox, it changes the text of the input fields instead! I've tried it a few different ways but always end up with the same result. Please see the attached screenshot. I want the single checkbox (above the Privacy Policy) to be blue, and the text in the input fields should remain black.

Hello,

Go to your theme settings and select a color for Input style to be black.
After opening the contact form, select checkbox>checkbox style and choose the color.
See attached screenshots.
