Hi NP,

Is there any difference from creating a custom button with the box element and using the actual button element?
I'm asking cause with the button element, the styling is somewhat limited, for example adding a gradient to my button, but I could do this with the box element, or perhaps create a custom gradient background and apply as image on my box element and animate on hover to create a button I like..

But I was wondering if this affects the website in anyway, especially in SEO as buttons can be vital here too.

Yes, you can use box elements instead of buttons, but it must be 1 or 2 times and not often. Also, pay attention that it better is to use the button when you need the button. For SEO also better to use a Button.

Hello. There is no difference in search engine optimization whether you use a button or make your own button from a box. Both elements are used in HTML code as the element used to create links. For Google, your box is a completely normal button or link.
