Ask a Question

I work with Nicepage Pro 1.16.0 & Joomla 3.9.11.
Each time, when I update my template and upload it & content to Joomla, the menu is going wrong. The articles get an other internal ID so that the menu link is wrong.
After editing menus by hand, i can work.
Other thing is, that the footer is not changed in Joomla. I change it in Nicepage, save export complete with content and project. Upload it to Joomla - but get the old Footer.
(Nicepage preview is working fine)

Now I have installed a brand new Joomla. The template ist transferred. I have learned a lot.
- the menu is not tranferred - has to be build manually
- each time I update content, the articles get new IDs
- when I place a link in footer, I have to use impressum instead of impressum.html
But after all I have a great website.
Nicepage is not perfect but i love it.

Hi Hella,
today I updated to 1.17 - no change.
I have used the free version before and the upload to joomla was ok including menu.
After first upload of the new Pro design the menu was not tranfered. I had to build it manually.
Now after changing I upload complete and use the overwrite option for content. After that in Joomla there is only one version of each article.
The Website is: http://neu.fewo-stiede.de/
I attach the 2 screenshots of the footer.
The Project is to big. You find it here: https://my.hidrive.com/lnk/JhM1B3M8

Hi Oliver,

When you import the edited content, it imports as a new article with the new link in order not to mess the Joomla articles structure. In this case also the new menu should be created under the Menu manager. So probably you need to set the new menu source for your Menu module under the Modules tab.
Regarding the footer issue, please provide a link to your site and also attach the theme exported as the Project. Some screenshots showing what is missing on the site will be also helpful.

Sincerely,
Hella
