Ask a Question

Hi,
I have Nicepage for a few months, since I am not the coder this is a good solution for me.

I hope here for the help of you, for a long time I try a
page correctly. That it displays correctly when opened on a latop and also on a 28" monitor.
With me it is always too big on the laptop and you see only half the page. Although I have adjusted it.

The settings for this with the width do not work in my opinion. Am I doing something wrong here or can Nicepage not better?
Does anyone of you have a link from a website that was made with Nicepage? I would like to see the whole thing with the laptop 14" and a normal monitor of 28" inch.

Thanks in advance,
mfg.

Hello Tdi-tuning,

Thanks for contacting us. We will try our best to help you.

We have two advice.

  1. Use the sheet not the screen and pay attention to thin vertical lines, top to bottom, your design should not go beyond these lines.
  2. Pay attention to all devices, you need to check twice on all devices, you can also correct the px of devices.

If after this your site has a problem again please give us the website URL, and link, and send some screenshots of an issue.
Please attach your site exported as a project here.
The topic will be moved to private.

Sincerely,
George.

Hello,
I have made a few more attempts.
From my point of view, the max value is limited too early for laptops.
Here max 1199 are possible.
Could I use 1250 or 1280 here, the notebook shows the correct design. Is it not possible to increase the max value here ?

Hello,

With Nicepage you are able to edit the width of the Content Area for different screens, but breakpoints are fixed and can't be edited.

Please clarify what the breakpoints are for each screen width 1140,940,720,540,340

You say "because each responsive mode has its own breakpoint, and it cannot be edited"

There are so many forum posts about page widths it would be helpful to have some good live site examples to understand how different page widths (with same breakpoints) work in the real world.

Please explain what the effect of changing screen widths are while not being able to edit breakpoints.

The best way to explain this would be to take one of your templates. Publish it twice - once as standard and once with page width changed - with some notes near the top of each site home page stating the page widths and break points .

Also why can users not change breakpoints? You have answered multiple times that they cannot be changed but never explain if there is some insurmountable technical reason.

I would assume users can edit the breakpoints in an exported HTML site by editing in the CSS - is that correct?

Colin,

You can edit the Content Area Width in the Page Properties. And those widths match the breakpoints. Users can change the breakpoints in the exported HTML. For more, please create a separate case, and we can discuss your particular cases.
