I don`t understand, how the updating of Nicepage works

Hello,
today I updated Nicepage Desktop to version 1.16 and was wondering, how the Joomla and Wordpress plugins would be updated. I have a white labeled Nicepage version, installing the plugin directly in Joomla or Wordpress is not an option. But when I exported website from the updated desktop version (1.16), the plugins stayed 1.15.1.
I thought, with the update of the desktop version there would happen also an update for the plugins to be able to update with export.
When I download the plugins from the Nicepage website, they are 1.16.

Hi Stefan,

The exported plug-ins should also have the latest version. Please make sure that you have reinstalled the new version of the plug-in on your site after you have installed the theme.
When you are using the white-labeled plug-in, it has no auto-update function. So you need to reinstall it manually when you want it to be updated.

In case you really get the outdated plug-in inside the exported theme, please attach that theme for the investigation.

Hi Hella,

I updated the Joomla extension (that I use white labeled within the template/content) manually, but then the white labelling is gone, because this is configured in the desktop version.

Hi Stefan,

If you have the white-labeled plug-in on the site, then for updating you need to perform the following actions. You need to open the desktop application, update it, then export the plug-in for your CMS with the desired white-labeled settings. Install that new plug-in on the site removing the previous version.
