I'm very interested to use nicepage but I have one question.
to use/integrate it on joomla to design template on joomla, is it mandatory to use Joomla exentension or can I use windows application, design the theme and upload it on joomla website?

Hi Laurent,
With Nicepage you can create a template for Joomla and also content for Joomla. The template can be created and edited in the desktop application only. The content can be designed in the desktop application and then imported to the site and also edited on the live site using the Nicepage pug-in fo Joomla. But with the plug-in you cannot edit the theme.

Nicepage extension for Joomla is a content builder only. Nicepage Desktop supports theme editing and content building. This is the main difference. In the Joomla extension, you cannot edit the theme but you can edit the content pages created with the Desktop app.

Hi Laurent,
Yes, the theme can be created and edited in the desktop application only. Desktop application can be also used for creating the content. The plug-in that can be installed on the live site is a content editor. You can use it for creating new content on the site and for editing the content that you have created in Nicepage desktop application and uploaded to the site.
Just to get clear once again, Header and Footer are the elements of the Theme and can be edited in the desktop application only.
