Hello,
It would be great to have a 'Content Area Height' setting next to the 'Content Area Width' setting.
There are times when I want everything visible on the screen. This setting could help with sizing elements so everything fits onto the screen.

Hello George,

When I design some pages, it is very important that nothing at the bottom of the page is hidden from view. If the viewer can't see an important element when they first open a page, they may 'click-through' to something else. People don't always think to scroll down a page if nothing seems to be cut off or hidden from view.

A 'Content Area Height' setting would show the 'cut-off line' where elements below this line are hidden from view. The cut-off line is different for each device screen depending on screen aspect ratios or pixel heights. The setting would be helpful in restricting the number or size of elements so everything fits onto the initial screen for the viewer.

Web designers get a fair number of complaints from people who quickly view a web-page, fail to scroll down to look for hidden elements then complain they looked at the page - but didn't find what they were looking for. People only look at a page for a few seconds, so everything must be visible on the screen at the moment they are looking.

I hope this clarifies my wish,

Guy

Hello Guy,

Thanks for using Nicepage.

For now, you can click the first block and click 100vh, this gives you the responsible height of the block, even the client desktop will be 1190 or 900 in height, after this, if you use an image you can click cover background, or if you use another small thing, you can everything put in the first block, and the first block will always 100 view height of the whole screen and your content will be always visible.

You can also add height from CSS, in - %, For example, block have 3 child and all child take 100% of the height, they will be responsive with their parent, and we know already that the parent is settled automatically by user view height.

If we misunderstood sorry, for a better understanding, please attach screenshots or a short video demonstrating your wish, and we will try to implement your wish.

Sincerely,
George.

Hello George,

I appreciate your tips and advice. I'm working on the server end now with the Joomla CMS installation. I will try the 100vh setting. Will the 100vh setting also shrink everything down to fit on smaller screens?

Hello Guy,

In CSS, 100vh is a unit of measurement that represents 100% of the viewport height. The viewport is the visible area of the browser window. So, height: 100vh will make an element have the same height as the viewport.

It is working this way also in Nicepage, always be 100vh, even mobile, even laptop, even large screen of any PC. If you want to try and have not used it before, firstly you can try to use it in the editor, play, and see how it works.

Please write to us if you have any additional questions.

George.
