Site name has already been used

Wishlist

Perhaps this is a feature request, or perhaps there is already a way to do this and I just don't know ... but I would LOVE IT if I could work on Nicepage Desktop Machine A and export my project, then import it into Nicepage Desktop Machine B and continue working on it, and then publish with the same domain name as I used on Machine A.

As it is now I get a prompt when trying to publish a previously published site on a different machine "Site name has already been used". Yes the site name was used by ME in a previous version, but publishing on a new machine won't allow me to overwrite the previous version from a new machine. Because the "Site name has already been used" I am required to enter a new domain name.

Could you look into this and tell me if there is a workaround? Thank you

Hello Peter,

For now, you can use the online editor, which is more flexible, and you will take the result. You will be able to access your online editor and publish anytime, anywhere, we understand that this is not exactly what you are asking for, so we will add your wish to our wish list.

OK understood, thanks. I would be happy to use the online editor exclusively but have already surpassed my Ultimate package Nicepage Hosting 20 site limit. That's another thing, I wish we could not be required to include nicepage hosting when we publish to our own domain. Then I could preserve my 20 sites and use the online tool exclusively.

If you created 20 websites with hosting, you can continue work, you can create unlimited websites if you export and publish on your domain.

Yes I'm familiar with the export and publish feature but would prefer the ease of publishing directly in Nicepage. I understand Nicepage has to limit the number of sites published to its own hosting, but if we had the option to disable hosting with Nicepage then we could use the direct publish to our domain tool and manage our 20 Nicepage hosted domains more efficiently. See attached image. Thanks again!
