about Backup my sites

Hi Juan,

Please provide a bit more details. You have created the site in the desktop application, then exported it in some format (what exact export type and options you have used?). Then you have uploaded it to the live hosting, correct? And after that one section was missing when you have opened that same project in the desktop application? We will need some screenshots showing the problem and also the theme exported as the Project.

What about backups? is there anyway i can do a backup for each website i am creating?

yoquil, backup copies must be provided by your web hosting company or in any case, make a manual copy before importing.

Hi Juan,

Nicepage projects are located in the Documents/Nicepage folder. You can make backups by copying the project folder manually. Also, you can export Nicepage websites as Project. The Project can be opened in Nicepage in the future.

nein, das funktioniert so scheinbar nicht! Denn sobald die Website größer wie 50 MB wird,
kann man es nicht mehr auf nicepage-online importieren. Nur über die App sind die Daten noch verfügbar.
Das Hosting funktioniert dann nicht mehr. :-(
Wir hatten gerade einen Riesenärger damit. 3 Tage Arbeit umsonst!

I used Nicepage desktop to export a whole themem and plugin, and uploaded it to WordPress dashboard following NP instruction on Youtube. After that I could open up NP on WP Dsahboard to edit the site theme and pages, instead of using my Desktop NP. However, now my question is how to make a backup/copy of that I have done with NP on WS-dashboard, that can be opened or restored back onto my desktop NP? The related issue is the NP on WPdashboard does not synced with my Desktopn-NP, but after I deleted 2 old pages on Dashboard NP, the all page content on my desktop NP are gone and only the theme on desktop left.

Since I only exported a theme and plugin of the site from my Desktop NP - before further editing it on Dashbaord NP, I have no a compelet site version (theme+all pages) on my desktop NP. So is there a way to export the final finished site version (backup/copy) from my WPDashboard NP, that can be opened on my Desktop NP? Thanks in advance!

You can use the backup features on your hosting panel to create a backup copy of your website.

As for the exporting sites from WordPress/Joomla to the Nicepage Desktop, once you upload your theme to WordPress, unfortunately, there is no backward compatibility with the desktop project. However, there is a workaround, and you can export blocks and import them into the Nicepage Desktop.

Please create a separate private topic if you need more help, as we might need temporary access and a project to understand issues in detail.

Hi. I created a site last year and since reset my desktop and just reinstalled Nice Page. I cannot locate any files from last year. Is there another way to locate the project please?

Only if you have backup Project files that might have been uploaded with your site if you included it.
Or a copy of the Documents\Nicepage folder from the original drive with the working folders.
