Report a bug

When adding a html code for a PayPal button for clients to start their subscription with us, the button is visible, but when clicking it the paypal popup immediately closes again.

Update:
I did a work around and created a button with the paypal link. It does not look that professional but it works
Any workaround for this?

Thanks,

Marlon

Hello Marlon,
Thanks for choosing Nicepage!

We can see the error from the PayPal button on your side, please check and fix the added custom code.
Also in the latest Nicepage version, we added the PayPal button integration with Nicepage.

Thanks for the reply. It was not Nicepage but the html code for the button. It was an error at PayPal. This is resolved.

****For those who encounter the same error, this is what it causes.****

When creating an app in the developer area from PayPal (as described in Nicepage documentation), you are not able to use the button codes from subscription plans you created in your regular PayPal account. This because the permissions are different then the html code from your subscriptions. Simply delete the the app in developer.paypal and create a new subscription plan in your regular PayPal account. There you can copy/paste the button html code into your nicepage site (use html code snipped)
