Dear support team,

I am reaching out to express my disappointment with the performance of the nice page desktop app. While I appreciate the app's interface, templates, and drag-and-drop features, I find the software to be very unresponsive and slow.

Loading, saving, and previewing pages take a considerable amount of time, and the app often freezes or crashes unexpectedly. To optimize my work, I spend more than an hour adjusting distorted screens, which is frustrating and time-consuming, especially when I have deadlines to meet.

I have attempted to resolve the issue by updating the app, clearing the cache, and reinstalling it, but none of these methods have proven successful. My internet connection is fast and reliable, and I do not experience any difficulties with other computer programs.

I hope that you can address this problem as soon as possible, as it is impeding my productivity and satisfaction with your product. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to improve the app's performance or if you require any additional information from me.

Thank you for your attention and assistance.

Hello Charles,

Thanks for such positive feedback and we are sorry to hear that you faced issues with the work of Nicepage.

The Desktop app uses the browser for the editor area. When you add something to the page or move it, the DOM is changed and the browser needs to recount the layout. This takes CPU resources, including CPU time. If you encounter such problems, we recommend that you disable applications launched in parallel that require CPU time — for example, antivirus.

We can recommend the following:
1) Disable all antiviruses and firewalls;
2) Disable browser plugins;
3) Disable YouTube Downloader and other similar proxy browser extensions and applications, if any;
4) Send us the Content of the Consol tab.

For that:
1) Go to the %AppData%\Nicepage\ folder;
2) Create an empty debug.txt file;
3) Run Nicepage;
4) Click F12 on your keyboard;
5) Click on the Console tab and copy its content;
5) Save to a text file and attach it to this case;
6) Then, run the Task Manager. Take screenshots of the Processor and Memory.

Sincerely,
Negat Veri

One thing that has helped me in the past is to optimize my images, 1600px on the long end.
