Hi guys,
I've purchased a license for your fantastic product but why do I have to get my host to reroute to nicepage for the site to work? I'm getting a lot of soft 404 errors even after setting up correctly.

airporttaxisbrighton.uk

Why can I not just export the html and upload without having to redirect to nicepage?

If you are using your own host for an html site, nothing needs to be redirected to Nicepage.
Your custom domain would need to point to your site.

Do I need to publish before exporting html?
I think that's where I've gone wrong, I've published and exported, do I need to unpublish the existing and reupload just the html?

Published to Nicepage and uploaded Html to my host. Do I need to unpublish from Nicepage and just use Html files on my host?

Is your custom domain pointing to your own host and not Nicepage?
I would export the site to your own PC, and use Filezilla to upload the files to your host folder.
Then clear your browser cache, Control + F5, and see how things are.
The site published to Nicepage shouldn't affect anything as long as your domain is pointing to your third party host.

This link shows what is hosted by Nicepage.
If you continue to have issues, we'll need to see what support says, as I'm another user like you.
