You're working with Google Analytics 4 property, you have a Measurement ID to add only once with the Google Analytics field in the Site settings. The ID should be visible then with a page code.
It may take some time for Google Analytics to be collected.

Or- do I need to have the google tag manager or the google optimize container fields filled out for it to work?
