Frank,

Posts are not edited with Nicepage, you can only output them to the Templates created in the desktop application.

Please let me know what type of site you are creating? And how exactly do you want to edit the blog?

I just want to add blogpages and edit them with nicepage like normal pages. I watched some of your videos and read the description but the whole proces is very complicated and counterintuitive. I would like to have a clear, point by point, instruction how to set up a blog and why we need this desktop edtior alongside the wordpress plugin.

The same goes to some extend to setting up of an woocomerce store. Why an external editor??

Furthermore, this exporting and importing from this external editor to WP is completely confusing to me

Hope you can do all this

Hi Frank,

Nicepage plugin for WordPress is a content editor plugin. It created Pages for WordPress. It does not edit the theme. The Desktop application can create theme and pages for WordPress, Joomla, and HTML websites. So, if you plan to use Nicepage with WordPress it is easier to manage posts directly in WordPress and use the Nicepage Blog Posts element to display WP Posts or use WP-generated blog pages with the Nicepage theme.
Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Hi Frank,

The standard WordPress Categories page as well as the latest posts, tags, archive, and Posts Page use the Blog Template which is a part of the Nicepage theme. The theme can be edited in the Desktop application only. Therefore, to change the appearance of these pages you should edit the Blog Template with the Desktop application, export the theme and install it as the standard WP theme.

In addition to this, you can add a Blog Posts element on the Nicepage page to display WP Posts on Nicepage pages in a blog format. You can do it with the Nicepage plugin.

WP Posts cannot be edited with Nicepage.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.
