Template Not Loading Properly Error 500 and 200

Hi, subsequent to my query of 2 weeks ago, where I found that a db was corrupt, I was experiencing the same problem during the whole time then and now. These issues being experienced, are localised to my desktop app and localhost in Joomla 3. I been having problems locating other similar support issues online. I have sort of, found a workaround by installing the zip but, because Joomla gives me a 500 error when trying to import menus and content, I have found that I can import these two items individually (but not simultaneously) when I import template content after the template has been installed. I'm finding that it is not importing all the changes made in the app. When trying to edit a page in Joomla via Nicepage, I get a loading notification but it remains blank.

Please help. This has been going on since my earlier support query 2 weeks ago. I've also tried exporting to Joomla 4 - same problem.

Hi Laurence,

The 500 error code usually means that some server limitations are not allowing to do the import of the files. Please let me know what is the size of the imported file? Also do you have a live site with the same issue where we could test the problem?

Hi Laurence,

Unfortunately, it is quite difficult to investigate the issue on the local website because we cannot access it.
Could you please check the server PHP error logs? It should contain a more informative error than error 500 which is generic.
Also, please open the browser console tool (F12 and start the Nicepage editor) >> Console tab and provide a screenshot of the error message from the console.
