Hello,
I'd like clarification on the 'locks' in the 'page outline'.
My workflow starts at the biggest display screen. When I finish my design work on the screen, I use the 'locks' to lock everything down for that display. Then, I start on the design work for the next largest display. Things generally work fine until I get to the three smallest (mobile) displays.
Here, everything messes up. I start making changes to the mobile display and this affects the larger displays as well. Now, I'm dealing with 'Nicepage wack-a-molly' I have to go back and fix the larger displays. This alters the work I've done on the smaller displays. Its and awful mess.
Nicepage 'locks' don't seem to work like locks. If I lock something down in the large display, it should stay locked on the large display - regardless if I'm working on a mobile display. Unfortunately, it seems that the locks are not isolated from the other display screens. When I open a lock, make changes and lock it down again, it affects all my previous work as well.
This seems very counter-intuitive to the graphic design workflow process. Each step should build on the previous step - not alter the previous step.
The documentation does not seem clear on how 'locks' are supposed to work.
Please advise, thanks,
Guy
