Ask a Question

When I export html to a local folder using desktop version, it re-exports ALL pages for a site, not just changed pages, and also changes creation of ALL files/pages to date/time of export.
Am I missing an option to only export modified/changed pages?
Thanks

Hi George
Many thanks for confirmation.

Suggestion for nicepage developers (I presume I am not the first to suggest this as it is common practice for most systems....) ;
-Rather than exporting unmodified files (e.g. static files held in files/images folders) and incorrectly changing the unmodified files parameters (e.g. changing 'date created/modified' every time an export is done for files that have not changed), It would be sensible that only changed files were exported or updated.

I agree with plunkchr. If at least the modified dates would stay consistent with the time a page has been modified.
At this point every exported page has the same date on it as the modified one, even though no changes were made, that makes it really hard to know which files have actually changed.
