Ask a Question

Good morning.
I have designed my web pages in MS Word, converted them into HTML pages and successfully uploaded one of them to my website. I haven’t a clue about coding, and don’t have the time to start learning it just yet, so there is no responsive element to adapt to different screen sizes.

Am I right in thinking that I can drag and drop my original (or html-converted) Word pages into the appropriate boxes in Nicepage and thus obtain a responsive website ?

As a start, I tried to drop my (.jpg) logo into the logo box, but it would not react. Am I asking for something that is not possible ?

My design includes a specific colour scheme, but I have read that this may not be an option in Nicepage. Is that correct ?

I hope that I am not asking too much here, but after lots of research and false starts elsewhere, Nicepage appears to be the only facility that may give me what I am looking for.

If Nicepage has a support phone number available, I would be happy to go into more detail

My thanks in advance for whatever guidance you can give me.

Regards

Tony

Hi Tony,

Thank you for your interest in Nicepage.
You used MS Word to create a page and then exported it as an HTML page. Nicepage works the same. You create a page, adjust responsively, color, and other settings, and export created project as an HTML website. Unfortunately, Nicepage cannot edit HTML pages create outside Nicepage. You can copy custom HTML and paste it into the HTML element added to the Nicepage page but this element is used to embed custom HTML into the Nicepage page, not for editing this custom HTML. But you can re-create this page in Nicepge and adjust it in the way you need.
Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Good morning Livia.

Thank you for responding to my questions.

If I read you correctly, I can paste my Word elements but NOT after I have converted them to HTML. It would be no problem for to me to revert to my Word documents. However, when I tried this route, I found that the Paste option on menus was greyed out. The same thing happened when I tried to paste in my logo. Am I missing something here ?

As a matter of interest, would it be possible to take one of my entire pages in Word and paste it as a complete element, complete with logo, header and footer into a single blank block ? As my pages are already completely drafted in Word, it would seem likely to save a lot of time if this is possible. This would be particularly relevant, as will want to make regular (daily) updates to several pages.

Thank you once again.

Tony.

Hi,

It is not possible to copy the whole page into Nicepage. Nicepage design has its own structure and each element should be added in the proper way. Like if you need to add a Logo, you need to add Logo element in Nicepage inside your Header and then click on the change image option and upload your new image for the logo.
Let me know if you have issues pasting the HTML code into the HTML control. In this case provide a screenshot of the problem.
