Editing linked PDF files

Our site has articles in PDF format and links on other html pages direct to these PDFs. We have discovered that some of these PDF files have typos / errors that need to be fixed. Can we use Adobe products to fix these errors and make new PDFs with the exact same file name and just copy them over into the website folder to replace the existing files that have errors? Or do we need to link them again using the web editor, since the new PDF files won't be exactly the same size even though they will have the same name?

To add a new file - you need to upload it again using the editor, it will be the best experience. However, replacing the original PDF file on the server may work. Therefore, we recommend that you try this way. In case the link will not work properly you can upload a new file.
