What the support just said is not the whole truth.
You need Nicepage Pro or Ultimate and then you can also create licenses for customers but ONLY(!) for Nicepage on a CMS such as Joomla. This is not the case for pure HTML pages because the desktop version is required and is in fact only intended for one user.

Creating customer licenses for the desktop version would be really great. I have some projects where no CMS would be necessary.
