Same header / footer for product pages

Ask a Question

I'm using the wordpress plugin to design my header and footer.
Apart from that I am using a imported theme for product page etc.
The thing is that with every little change I make to my header or footer, I have to change that in the Wordpress plugin but also in the nicepage software and then export and import the theme.

This is getting quite annoying.

Can I use the same header and footer for the product pages as for my other pages?

Would simply hiding the header and footer on the product pages etc. fix this?

Hi, Nathan,

Yes, this is the default behavior. When you edit the Header and Footer in the Nicepage plugin, it only affects the Nicepage pages. WooCommerce pages always use the Header and Footer from the active theme. Therefore, if you need to change the design of WooCommerce pages (as well as native WordPress pages and posts), you need to do it in the Desktop or Online app with further reinstalling of the theme.

Alternatively, you can switch your Nicepage pages in WordPress to Theme Header and Footer or Theme Template, and the Header and Footer will be the same on all pages of your website.

We agree that the process of reinstalling themes is inconvenient a bit, but we hope that it will be faster in the future.

Let us know if you need our further help!
