Ask a Question

Dear Nicepage Team,

Unfortunately, I am having serious problems getting my site indexed by Google, despite filling out the SEO info. The results on other search engines are even worse.

One serious problem seems to be the Missing field URL for the logo. I can solve this by adding a canonical URL to each page, but then the English version of my bilingual site won't be indexed.

Google also thinks that the pages have similar content, which is not the case. This is all frustrating. Could you take a look at my site and perhaps advise me on how to improve the results? My website: www.classicalnow.nl.

When will the Missing field URL bug be fixed?

Hi Dimitri,

One serious problem seems to be the Missing field URL for the logo.

You can try to take the whole code with the URL for the logo and add it under the Site Settings >> HTML >> Additional Head HTML area.

Also please note that Nicepage does not tune your SEO, it only allows to add the desired SEO tags.

Hi Dimitri,

One serious problem seems to be the Missing field URL for the logo.

You can try to take the whole code with the URL for the logo and add it under the Site Settings >> HTML >> Additional Head HTML area.

From your advertising

No Coding
Visually add, edit, move, and modify with no coding!

And SEO?

SEO Set up the properties essential for your website's SEO or search
engine optimization. It allows increasing the quantity and quality of
your website's traffic and the higher ranking and presentation in
search engine results, using organic, in other words, non-paid,
methods.

And NOW?

I see here always: "Write own code"

The support ist the same shit like themler!

Hi Dimitri,

You can search for the code that Google refers to. Usually it is something like this:

<script type="application/ld+json">
{
"@context": "https://schema.org",
"@type": "Organization",
"url": "http://www.example.com",
"logo": "http://www.example.com/images/logo.png"
}
</script>

You can change URL to the desired one and add the whole code under the Site Settings >> HTML >> Additional Head HTML.

From your advertising

No Coding
Visually add, edit, move, and modify with no coding!

And SEO?

You can indeed achieve a lot of designs without coding. As for the SEO, we allow a huge range of options that you can insert into the application interface, maybe we do not cover all the possible options, but really a lot of them, including OG tags.

It is not working unfortunately. I have pasted this in the additional head html.

{

    "@context": "http://schema.org",
    "@type": "Organization",
    "name": "Classical NOW",
    "logo": "https://classicalnow.nl/images/ClassicalNOWlogo2020goud.svg"

}

Like you suggested. What else can I do?

Hi Dimitri,

Maybe you need to clear the site cache and wait a bit. If the code is inserted into the head section, that is exactly what Google requires.

Hey Dimitri

  1. Google has already indexed your web (site:www.classicalnow.nl)
  2. the last cache version of your home page is yesterday (29/3/23) so google bots are visiting your web regularly
  3. NO SEO...ie NOTHING....is infinitly better than bad or badly coded SEO...so I would recommend you do NOTHING...stop worrying about SCHEMAs !! just concentrate on content and META Titles / META Descriptions..

Nicepage is NOT an SEO tool... it is a page DESIGN tool... and it is an excellent DESIGN tool...

If you have a web platform (wordpress, whatever..) then of course, look at technical SEO issues like robots, sitemaps hreflangs schemas and much much more...

But otherwise don't worry...nicepage with ZERO SEO is much better that badly coded SEO on another platform.

Google is already visiting your web....and he found 61 pages and he's indexed 39 of those 61.... so in about a months time you should have 50 pages indexed in google !!! excellent !!! but it's not enough, you need more... focus your energy on CONTENT... and forget about "coding" with nicepage....

Excellent web btw !! i'm sure you'll be pleasantly surprised in the coming months as Google "digests" your content (not your SCHEMAS)

Best regards

Shay

Hi Dimitri,

I can see that you have an HTML site, in this case there is no way to clear site cache, I thought that you may be using some CMS.
