Ask a Question

I am currently creating a website using a desktop app, with the intention of updating it gradually on Wordpress. This involves adding new pages and updating existing ones.

  1. I am wondering if this will affect all the tags (GTM-GA4,Recaptcha, etc)on the website.

    1. Should I consider using a plugin to manage the tags? If so, which one would be recommended?
  2. Also, is it a problem to have the tags and code within a nicepage.io subdomain on the desktop app, when it will eventually be moved to the final website under the real domain name, such as mydomain.com?

Hi, Alejandro,

1) If you use the same tags for an old and a new theme, they will not be changed after reinstalling your theme.

2) Yes, you can use the Nicepage plugin for WordPress for adding and editing such tags. However, please note that all changes made in the Nicepage plugin affect only Nicepage pages in WordPress.

3) It will be better to transfer all tags to the real domain name, and remove them from the domains that will not be used anymore. Please do not forget to change the domain name in the settings of these services.

Let us know if you have any further questions!
