I am creating a new template for an existing site. I am working in a BETA location. The content is all there. The ONLY thing not working is the template.
I've created the new template, saved the project, exported the project as a Joomla 4. The template includes: new header, a video in the header which should appear on all pages, some positions, blog template, blog post template, and a few headers in the project between blocks on what is called the HOM page.
As I upload the template in Joomla, I select upload template ONLY. I do not see the results I created.
Then, I upload the template WITH content, OVERWRITING, and also tried without overwriting. In doing so, it half way uploads a menu of its own, with a bunch of characters like asdvaserzeas It's not even a name. And it uploads what it wants to call a HOME page and puts HOME3 or whatever after it.
It is NOT uploading content. I believe there is an issue with overwriting my existing menu - home page - etc.
Can someone give me instructions on what to do to get the content to upload. I am assuming that once it is uploaded, I need to go in and assign the HOME PAGE - which should go into the MAIN MENU with a featured article.
It has to do something with the menus and overwriting. If you log in, you will see I already have menus and articles and a home page selection.
Have tried sending a project to NP via private topic but attachments are not working.
