Ask a Question

I have a Pro license for myself, but I am getting my clients to sign up for each of them separately, but I NEED to know with the Nicepage hosting, who is the provider and where are the servers located.

I have read through the forums, and you never answer the specific information.

Is it AWS, Azure, Google, or do you use the hosting provider you use for the Nicepage website - Leaseweb?

I have clients in Australia and the EU and for a few of them, the Niepage hosting would be great, as they do not have the skill set for managing their own hosting, and uploading files etc.

Hello Mischelle,

Thanks for contacting us

Unfortunately, we can't disclose such information to the public. But we can share that the files are located in the clouds on different servers and distributed worldwide by cdn.

Ahmad.

Thank you for the reply Ahmad.

I would have thought disclosing this would have provided reassurance to your clients that their sites are hosted on reliable secure servers.

I will discuss this with my clients.

Are you able to disclose if they are located in the EU? As my EU clients need their data stored in the EU.

I am simply looking at an easy hosting solution for my non technical clients who will find publishing to a separate hosting providers difficult.

Thanks for the reply Mischelle,

Disclosing doesn’t mean secure:)
As we explained the servers are worldwide. There are servers in EU as well.

Hi Ahmad,

What I was asking is are they in the EU? I was asking can you disclose that information?

As EU clients need their server locations in the EU for GDPR requirements. That was what I was asking in my second post.

I love Nicepage, and usually host myself, but for some of my clients, the Nicepage hosting with easy publishing would be perfect :-)

Hi Mischelle,

Please allow me to explain a bit about CDN itself that we mentioned above.

CDN means a Content Deliivery Network. It’s a system of servers designed to efficiently deliver content, such as music, images or video, to requesting clients anywhere in the world. To do this effectively, each server houses a copy of the original content, which it can then distribute to users within range. A large-scale CDN will have servers strategically positioned around the globe, enabling people thousands of miles away to access the same great content as quickly as local communities that live close to the original source.

CDN’s help companies like us to scale up and deliver great content to underserved communities around the world. They also help to ensure a seamless user experience, as the content doesn’t have to travel as far to reach the viewer, so they’re guaranteed quick access, great performance, and minimal latency.

Sincerely,
Ahmad.

I run my own servers with full web applications, databases as well as basic websites, I know what a CDN is and that is not what I was asking.

My clients who are non technical people would love the simplicity of the Nicepage hosting, one click publishing, all I needed was where you host it?

AWS, Google, Azure etc etc etc etc. These are reliable providers who have a lot of security built in.

Your reply of not disclosing your hosting, although not really a good reply in 2023, as people should be told where their data is stored.

So I asked for a SIMPLE reply of where is it located EU? USA? etc and I got a message about a CDN, I was not asking about performance or latency, I clearly stated I need to know for GDPR requirements.

People... use your own Hosting when you or your Customer in Europe.
I dont use the Hosting, i am a Small Provider and for EU Pages is not GPDR when you use an Hosting in the USA or other Countrys.
Also the Company can not say explicit where your Data saves.. only after a long discussion "Amazon S3 Storage" and further ?

My general recommendation is to use a web builder but not their hosting.
Use your own servers so you have control over your data and are independent

I have my own servers, in both the EU and Australia, but my customer wanted to be able to use the one click publish function, rather than export and upload.

All good, it's been sorted :-)
