Corrupt Menu | Theme Related Error (WP Backend)

After updating the NP plugin to version 5.4.0, I am receiving this error in the WP admin:

"Nicepage Settings - The active theme has a version lower than the plugin version. Please update the theme too."

I do not see an update available for the desktop application.

The menu also displays the following:

Hi,

Looks like you are using the 5.3 plug-in version on your site, please update it to the 5.4 version and resave one of your pages in the Nicepage plug-in.

Please update your current plugin to the most recent one. If the code didn't disappear after that, resave one of your pages.

This should fix the issue.

If the problem still persists, provide temporary access to the WP admin panel in a private topic.

I have the same issue! the menu is displaying the code instead of the menu :(
