Create a dead link in Nicepage?

I have just created a creative solution of a site for on of my clients. I want to know how to make the root item in a submenu
"dead" . I mean if you click it it will only show the submenu items and not go to another page.
Is it possible? I published it on Joomla. The root menu items link could not på altered.

Hi Björn,

If this is Joomla website please try using "Separator" menu item type for the menu item which should not open a page.

Hi,

In WP you can edit the menu and add the Custom Link item into menu and type # as the menu item URL.
