Can nicepage really not see my local html site files?
I'm hoping to use this software to build new responsive pages for an existing personal website that's hosted on my own leased server space. It's a simple site that's a mix of a travel blog and a photo gallery site. I have the landing page and currently have 36 subpages for each travel gallery. But it's all old HTML and CSS and isn't responsive. I work on my local drive then upload all the HTML, CSS, and image files when I'm done. My plan was to redo only the landing page and my most recent travel gallery for now, then slowly replace the old galleries as time allows.
1) I'm starting with my newest gallery page first and I tried to "import" my existing home page but it complained that it's not a nicepage file. Is there a way to add my existing HTML files to the project list of pages?
2) It doesn't seem to allow me to add a relative anchor link to an existing local HTML file. Is there a way/place to do that? Can it really not see my existing local html files? (I refuse to use the web url for each page instead of using proper relative paths) For now my work around is going to be to use this to build a single page website then manually edit the exported HTML files. I was hoping that nicepage would eliminate my need to do manual coding. This missing ability seems to be a basic oversite, not everyone is starting from scratch.
