Help whole site is gone! zip file not working as back upfile

Today i run nicepage after a long time. But the first message i got was that the link to Nicepage wasn't working anymore. Hartattack fell on me... Then i updated the nicepage software, but that dit not work either. So i installerd nicepage again. Then at least i got nicepage workinge again. But my site is gone. Nothing left... And i cant find anything to back up. I have zip files from my site but nicepages says that that is a unvalid nicepage-projectfile.

What to do now? Im totally lost, i always feared that this could happen so back-up due zipfiles. But now they cant be readen. My site on te server still works. But i dont know if i can download it fromt there back to the desktopapp...

LAST note... i found a back up that works in the trashbin of one drive. hopefully i can use and upload that... still te question why de zipfiles dont work as a back up

Please clarify, have you tried the following option?

Please note that exported HTML zip is not suitable to import as a project or backup.

Well i used the html zip file ad back up for the upload. I did not know that te html file wasn't suitable for nice page backup. I found a legit back up in my onedrive waste bin. So i got my site back.

How can you create a back up out of the desktop app and where are the backups stored? If those two questions are anwserd this topic can be closed. Thx for the fast reply

yes found it.Thank you. But there is no option to make a backup of my own? By settings a backup can be created, automatic or not, after an update of nicepage. You can change those settings on the disk (save) icon. But ik cant find an option to create a backup manually? Is that correct? Thx.

Hi Erik,

The backup is a simple Project file so you can export the theme as a Project each time you want to make a backup manually.

Use the Export menu in Nicepage >> Project.

oh briljant! In duch is called publiceren. Thats something els than an export, thats why i could not find it. Thanks 4 the advise.
