When exporting templates to virtual stores in joomla from nicepage desktop, do they only work for virtuemart or are there others that can be used?

Yes for now. VirtueMart is the only option for Joomla Store.

Virtuemart is just one online store option for joomla, there are many others, more than a dozen of them

Hi Jonatas,

It is impossible to support dozens of different e-commerce components for Joomla. We supported the most popular and free. But you can use any. Nicepage design will not be applied to the product lists, single products, carts, etc. Only basic Post Template will be applied.
