How to Install a template with the joomla add-on?

When I upload a theme with the Joomla editor plugin added when I export it in Nicepage I get an error uploading it to Joomla:

Using Nicepage 1.5.0 and Joomla 3.9.5

Is this the correct way to upload a template with this plugin included?

I am also getting the error when installing the Joomla plugin 1.5.0. The plugin uploads but there is an error when it installs. Could this be a bug in the install script? Other extensions install fine, php file size is more than enough and the php temp path is set and writable so I don't see it can be a file size limit or writing permission problem.
