Ask a Question

When I view my website on my desktop it looks fine. However, when I post it to the server and look at it online, everything is magnified several times. It wasn't doing this, earlier and I've never seen anything like it. What am I doing wrong?

Hello,

The less your images size the less time it will take to load the website page, so minimizing graphics it's common practice in website building.

I do have one question. Should I be using images scaled down for the internet, or is it okay to directly use higher res images and let the software scale them down?

Hello,

The width of the Block as well as the width of the page is related to the browser viewport size. Therefore, the size is different in the Nicepage editor and in the real browser. The Background image is stretched to cover the Block by width. Therefore, the height of the image increases too and it looks different than in the editor because of the editor area width.
Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Thanks! I may have found an answer--this appears to happen when either my blocks, or the images inside the blocks, are too wide. I'm brand new with this software so I'm just feeling my way through the interface.

First thing I would do is clear the browser cache.
Control + F5.
