Updates desktop version and Wordpress Plugin - Security error log in theme

Hello,

keeping the theme updated is it sufficient to update the WP-Plugin installed at a live-site?

I am trying to keep everything up to date and installed iThemes too.

I received today an info for changes, which i didn't in: wp-content/themes/....may theme/error_log

What are these changes for? Dangerous?...

Hi Silke,

Yes, you update the plug-in only. Probably there might be some unique cases when you need to update the desktop application and export the theme once again but that would probably happen only in cases when the theme had a bug and the new version was needed to fix that bug.

Generally, update the plug-in and do not worry)

You mean the plug-in update? It is not dangerous, just released the update with some improvements and fixes.
