Hi

I want to suggest implementing such a component as a Catalog in Nicepage tools. A tool that allows you to implement without using a CMS, including for HTML export, a catalog of products or services with the ability to build a hierarchy, typed pages with an editable set of parameters and styles for each product or service. Such a thing will avoid the need to work with CMS, and collect sites in plain HTML. That would be a very cool solution!

Thank you!

Vasiliy, I have often wished there was a way to show "products" on my HTML websites, but I have to say that the depth of information you want to be able to capture is probably beyond the scope of what a general purpose web design tool should do.

If your intent is to avoid the overhead of a blown-blown CMS system, have you considered purpose-built e-commerce platforms? There are several available, some of which can be found on the review site Capterra. I did a search for appropriate FREE software and found this list: capterra.ca/directory/3/ecommerce/software?features[]=Shopping+Cart&features[]=Cataloging%2FCategorization&features[]=Inventory+Management&free_version=Yes

Although it might not be the best solution for you, my personal choice for past projects has been OpenCart. It is light weight, available through Softaculous for installation on hosting websites, scales well, has some decent support from the user community and a few really talented extension developers.

Thanks a lot for the feedback.

You know, everything that you have offered (using CMS, online store platforms, etc.) is not required in 90% of corporate sites offering products or services. The functionality of online store platforms is often redundant and requires additional costs on the part of the contractor and no less costs on the part of the customer. It's not very convenient. I'm not asking the Nicepage toolkit to go to the CMS or platform level, the same Opencart.

I ask Nicepage to try to create a tool for templating and typing individual categories and pages, as this is already implemented in the Nicepage tool "duplicate elements" in blocks.
I am convinced that such an opportunity to give a new round in the development of this product and will definitely find a positive response in the Nicepage user community.

I agree.. This feature alone is making it hard for me to develop a site on nicepage.. I'm considering exploring.. I just wish I don't spend days developing it and regret afterwards.

The plan is to design the site, then export and import in WP using Nicepage plugin and WP Texonomy.

Hope it works.. If you have any experience with this.. Would be super helpful.

I want to create a sorting category like this https://orascom.com/projects/

Thank you

The same site, https://orascom.com/projects/, we can realise in Nicepage and save a lot of time and resources (money, server-software, cms and it's config) if we have simple tool in Nicepage – "Catalog", same as offline Blog. I've already publiced post in forum where I take idea to realise offline blog in Nicepage App (for HTML or CMS). There is my topic https://nicepage.com/questions/204031/full-fledged-blog-for-exporting-to-html.

Please, Vote+ for my post's and topic's

I think that Nicepage need to realise Offline and Online CMS Catalog or etc. look like Framer or Webflow..

I have a task to make a site with product catalog, hierarchy subdirectories and product with regular and value unique parameters. Amazing if this task would realised in Nicepage CMS for Offline (export HTML) and Online for Online-Builder, Joomla, WP.

Thank you!
