how do I remove unwanted content from the home page that apparently is generated by Nicepage?

I did not use any templates from Nicepage in organizing my simple website

Thanks for contacting us

It can be removed from the Nicepage editor in the Site Settings >> General tab >> Uncheck the box "Made in Nicepage"
