Ask a Question

How to duplicate an entire static website for translation?
I want to translate my site into a second language without using Joomla or Wordpress.

I started to translate one page but I realized that the footer and header will translate everything in French or English if I stay in the same project.
So I have to create another project in Nicepage.
Duplicating an entire website does not work.
Should I try importing the project into my new website (new Nicepage project) and change the language?
After that, I want to export the 2 sites in 2 folders "FR" and "EN" and to manage this with Dreamwaver...

Hello, I duplicated the website in NicePage. I exported both websites as HTML US and HTML DE in a "website" folder. In this folder I created a DE folder in which I put the website in German. The US website remains in the first “website” folder. I opened the US index.html file with a Dreamwaver-like web editor in which I pointed the button DE button on the US home page to the US home page. On the US home page I made a link to the DE page.

thank you
