So I have been testing Nicepage ( https://rocket77.de/v1/ ) and bombarding the forum with questions for the last few weeks.
I like a lot of the things you can do with Nicepage. The App is definitely going in the right direction, esp. for designers who want to get a little creative. But as much as I like it, I'm gonna have to go back to using Blocs for building customer sites.
There are really just 2 major issues that will prevent me from using Nicepage in the future for creating websites.
So dear Nicepage:
1. Get rid of the crazy "homepage with a name other than index". Sorry, but that's a no go. And please don't tell me that Nicepage does create an index .html page when exporting. That's not the same. (manually have to set the link on the logo in the navi to index, for example). The homepage should be index.
2. Automatically generate a sitemap. This is a big issue. Manually writing a sitemap.xml file and manually uploading it to the server is just way to time consuming.
If these issues are addressed I will definitely come back and dig even deeper into the possibilities.
Once again, a great tool with potential!
