Sorry to persist with this; your suggestion of adding a # at the end of my URL is not working; still getting some other random page being linked.

Updated to 1.4.5, still doing it. Project attached. See page "Tokens", links on images specifically.

Hi Gerry,

Please download the latest 1.5 version from our site. I was not able to reproduce the issue with your theme in this version.

Hi Hella,
Installed v1.5.0, still observe the same behavior.
Recreation steps:
Load TCON project (see above attachment)
Select Tokens page
Select first image on page, in "Aasimar" section
Click Link icon in popup menu
Observe URL is NOT a link to the Assimar page (on my system this time it is Story.html, sometimes this changes)
Scroll down in the Pages list, select "Asimar"
Observe that URL entry changes to "Aasimar.html"
Click Done button
Select image under Dragonborn section
Reselect Aasimar image
Click Link icon in popup menu
Observe that URL is NOT Aasimar.html as expected (in my case it is now "Tokens.html)

Please note, this is likely a bad data or import issue. After installing v1.5.0, I started a new website. Made 3 blank pages, each with one Text control to label the page (Page 1, etc.). Added an image to Page 1, selected link icon, linked it to Page 2. Clicked Done. Selected off the image then back on, open the Link menu again, and verified it stayed at Page2.html. in other words, I am unable to replicate my issue with v1.5.0 and a NEW website. I have not yet tried to replicate the issue after an export.
I will update this if I find a way to replicate with a clean site and v1.5.0, however I am concerned about having to recreate sites made in earlier versions. I'd feel better about it if you could at least recreate my issue with my site file.

Hey Gerry!
I might actually found a workaround for you. Go into your Nicepage-Directory, where your nicepage projects are saved. Look for the directory of your project, in there you should find the html-pages and also a site.json file. In there you will find at the top all your sites, with an id too. Look up... "Aaismar" or how it's called in your video and look at the id of it, copy that id and put it in the URL-Field of the Hyperlink Window.

  1. Nicepage Directory
  2. Project Directory
  3. Open site.json (with notepad or notepad++, or whatever you like)
  4. Look for the id of the site, you want your Hyperlink to link to
  5. Copy it, and paste into the url-field
  6. ???
  7. Profit

Please, let me know if it worked.

Hi Jan!
Thank you for the suggestion, it partly worked (see below).

Following your instructions, I was able to set the URL link properly... until I open the Link menu again. Then it is once again altered.

  1. Went to Nicepage folder, then into project folder. Opened site.json, found data-pageid for Aasimar.html link. Copied this number (84213883 in this case).
  2. Select image, open Link menu as before, pasted the number into the URL textbox, then click Done.
** If I export the site NOW, the link is correct **
  3. Open Link menu again, see that the id number has been replaced with "Aasimar.html". All good. Click Done.
  4. Open Link menu again, URL is now one of the other pages in my project.

Summary - This is a functional workaround but not a great one (sorry, Jan!) as the issue is affecting MANY links in my project and wile it does allow me to publish, I cannot edit any of the links in my project again without link corruption. So it does allow me to repair the broken links, but still prevents me from being able to edit them properly.

In any case, thank you for the tip, at least I can get my site updated!

Hi Gerry,

Indeed, editing the exported site may be a solution. In any case, we are investigating the problem and I hope that it will be fixed soon.

I am running V1.6.5 and have the same issue, happening with 2 image links and a text link, which won't accept the link to the page I want, and keeps linking to the same wrong page.
What do you mean adding a # at the end of the url? as in page-1#.html?

Also checked on v1.6.5. I cant replicate the problem on a project started in v1.6.5, but the issue remains in my projects created previously. Obviously, this makes keeping my (and my clients) sites updated very time consuming. I've started recreating sites in a competing product so I can provide support.

Nilde, not sure, neither page-1#.html nor page-1.html# worked for me.

This is a disaster! Now I'm having the same problem on other links on the site, and page-1.html# doesn't work any more!
I save the link (with or without the #), go back, and see it reverted to a random link.

***Guys, this is not possible - I have a website that needs to go live on Wednesday and I was almost done!
This is a MAJOR BUG.
