What does reCaptcha in Nicepage forms / on project exactly do?

Hello Nicepage team,
please be so kind to specify exactly what reCaptcha v3 in Nicepage forms / projects will do.
As I am right it is kind of automatic recognition, if bots are visiting or human people.
But I am not sure what this does me for us as a user and why it makes sense.
The spam protection field with "I am not a robot" is v2, which is unfortunately not implemented yet.

Hi Alan,
I tried this months ago and the v3 didn't help much.
The "I am not a robot" field from v2 was much more effective.
You can find many similar thoughts here in forum also informing that there is still too many spam.
Just search for recaptcha here and spam.
So I would be confused if the new standard integration would change anything.
I made a good suggestion in another thread, possibility to choose captcha version v2 or v3 or no use at all.
