I wish possibility to choose reCaptcha use with this selections

a) no use completly
b) use of reCaptcha v2
c) use of reCaptcha v3

This would help all - those who want no use, "I am not a robot" field spam protection with v2 and v3 users.

Regards

Dear NicePage team! Many people will not renew subscription because of automatic recaptcha including me. You made a mistake.

Frank and All,

Since the previous update, 4.20, on October 20, 2022, we have added the automatic ReCaptcha for our services, including Leads, Email, and Google Sheets.

For all other submission options, like WordPress Contact Form 7, Joomla Form, PHP Script, Custom URL, and MailChimp, the automatic ReCaptcha is not applied, and also, on pages that do not have the Contact Form Element.

With this automatic ReCaptcha to Leads, Email, and Google Sheets, we protect your sites from spam, phishing, and other fraudulent activities, as well as our services.

If you get the automatic ReCaptcha using WordPress Contact Form 7, Joomla Form, PHP Script, Custom URL, and MailChimp, please create a private support topic and provide additional information.

Please also explain in detail why you ask to remove the automatic ReCaptcha to our services.

Sincerely,
Alan R.

HI Alan,
thanks for explaining.
I think the ones who like to remove the reCaptcha maybe need to use another one - e.g. of problems with GDPR data protection rules. There are lawyers specialized in "earning money" with complaints about using the reCaptcha (similar to Google fonts).
So there are definitely reasons for those, which do not want to use any Google services.
Thats why I think the possibility to choose is the best for all.

Regarding the use of reCaptcha v3 Google writes:

"reCAPTCHA v3 returns a score for each request without user friction. The score is based on interactions with your site and enables you to take an appropriate action for your site."

How does the Nicepage integration in forms go on with this information? Does it allow "submissions" having a special score to be submitted? Or in other words - what is done with the score "recognized" by Google?

Best regards
Frank

Hi Frank,

Google has its own algorithms for defining whether a person can submit a form or the submission is made by a robot. As they say, they collect the activity of each user on the site and recognize if it is a human or not by its actions on the site. We do not interact with those processes and allow the reCaptcha functionality to protect the form submissions.
