Ask a Question

Can I create a PAGE that is NOT part of the formal menu system.?
I wish to create a WordPress template that uses an introductory 'Splash' page.
Then the user would be directed to another page that shows/uses a FULL menu system.

Ken,

You can create that. And use the links buttons linking to other pages.
You can design theme components in Nicepage: Colors, Fonts. Header, Footer, Post, Blog templates, then create a page as you need.

Export both the theme and content, then import to your website.

Thank you!

How did you do this? I also would like to show a splash page for a few seconds until the site loads in the background.

probably my use of the word 'splash' was misleading.
This page is the one that appears when you arrive at a sites HOME page.
For me, it was NOT something that appeared for a few seconds then disappeared.
I just wanted this HOME page NOT to have a 'menu' system, yet still have a site with many pages.
So I just disabled the HEADER on the HOME page.
Do a google search on using a page display for a few seconds.
