Ask a Question

Is it possible for the website address in the browser to contain the name of the page?
Example: my site.com/kontakt.html and not how I have it now
my site.com/index.php/ct-menu1-item9.html
Joomla 4x.
"Search Engine Friendly URLs" set to "yes".

Hello Magdalena,

This is Joomla settings for your pages, please follow the link to check the instruction - https://docs.joomla.org/Special:MyLanguage/Alias

In General - you need to change the article alias and select in your Joomla Global Configuration > Site > SEO > enable Search Engine Friendly URLs

Please check and let us know.

Hello Magdalena,

Do you mean the changes in alias for the menu item are not applied?
Please check the video example - http://somup.com/c3Qj2cUT3N
You can ask Joomla support for additional help with this.
