Ask a Question

Hi,
After starting up my Mac and Nicepage I got a prompt to update Nicepage (update aug 24th). After restarting Nicepage all 'My Sites' on the left side were gone. Checking the forum on similar issues and questions it should be easy to resolve it, but I can't.

I have to select the path [again] to my projects folder and back ups, but nothing changes after restarting NP. No older sites visible, just a new one with an exclamation mark.

When selecting the correct folder the button in the projects window says 'OPEN", not 'CHOOSE', and then another folder opens (with a project number) and I get the option 'OPEN' again... but still the outcome is none in NP.

Is there something I overlook?
What do I have to do more? Please I need your help.

Andries,

Please try to restore your sites using the Backup feature.

Hi Alan

because it was'nt possible to see my former sites within Nicepage (at the left side) I imported the projectfiles manually.
It opened well, I could make changes and updates and preview it also in a browser within NP.

But .... when I want to publish/export the site online I get error prompts. See screenshots.

Then I tried your advice and restore an older backup of june. Opened well, I can make changes but when publish & export the site I again still get prompt errors. Always at 26% while uploading.
Formerly the export of sites went excellent and fast, never had problems. But now there's something seriously wrong...

Also changed the IP address as mentioned to see if that could make any difference, but nope.
As said, never had problems before the latest update when exporting.

I will now try to download an earlier version of Nicepage... But in the meanwhile: do you have any idea what could occur this issue?

Regards,
Andries

Alan

i think a found out what the culprit was, because of the update and a restart of my Mac some settings were lost, like the paths to templates and backups, the language and other settings. So too the publish/export setting.
And when I got the prompts and tried it later with an older version of NP and a backup, I saw that I was not exporting as 'HTML' but as a 'website'. Zie screenshot of the window.

So changed it, did a new upload and no errors anymore, and a correct update in the browser.
So it seems the problems has been fixed. Sorry if I wasted your time.
