Hi Martijn,
there is no library function in the Online Editor right now. So this means there is no way to save a Block and reuse it on an other page, using the Online editor?
There is no Library option in the online editor, but you can export and import blocks.
When does a theme need an update:
We recommend to update the theme each time we release the update, but it is not obligatory. If you need to make changes in the templates, then you need to update the theme, some times when you have a really old version of the theme o the site it may cause some conflicts and visual issues on the site, so if you get some problems, please try to update the theme first.
are the more important differences right now in 2022, between the Online Editor and the Desktop app?
The online editor allows you to work from any computer by just login to the account. Note that if you host sites with us, the form submissions will come to your account e-mail. Actually there are no such significant differences. Let us know if you need to know something specific.
when i go to an other IP location, use an other computer and install the free Desktop app, can i then login using my Pro license and then I'm back into my own account and see all my work again?
No, as you have mentioned, the online builder and desktop application are not connected. The online editor stores your projects on the server and you can access them from any computer with your login. The desktop application stores files locally. So you need to export/import the project in another location. Also note that the desktop application can be activated on two computers only, so when you activate it on a third one it will be deactivaed on the first one.
This is important to know because the Online Editor and the Desktop app cannot “See” each other, so the decision where to start creating templates is very very important.
You can work wherever it is convenient to you and then export the project and import it to the desktop application or online editor.

Hella
