Hi Paul,
I found the origin of my question !
The French translation of the "fixed on scroll" option is really bad and does not correspond to the effect.
It should be : "fixe au défilement" instead of "Corrigé sur le défilement" that means that the picture will be "corrected/modified on scroll" which is not the meaning of this effect (and therefore you will not tick it).
Setting the app language to English (and your screenshot) solved the problem.
By the way, even if you tick the option "fixed on scroll" the background image is not as requested in the desktop app : the image expands it self over the whole height of the page. You have to preview the page on a navigator to see the real view of the page.
