Hi,
For now there is no option to import Artisteer templates, our developers are investigating this possibility. Any other random theme cannot be imported into the Nicepage. You can also try the option to create the page from URL. There put the URL of the concrete page of your existing site and Nicepage will take the content from that page. Try it to see how it works.
Sincerely,
Hella

As a happy Artisteer user (from the start) I've tried the destined successor Themler, but have to say that didn't really was/is a workable product. So I am still using Artisteer (for existing templatre designs) although it's outdated. Have tried some other template designers but keep getting back to Artisteer. Feels a lot more comfortable and better/completer.
Will give Nicepage a try, but what really would help here is indeed an import/convert function for Artisteer templates in Nicepage. So i strongly support the request of Rene.
Kind regards
Gert

It seems that nicepage is an upgrade to Artisteer. Also seems that it would be a no-brainer to import Artisteer templates into nicepage. Seems to me it should have been a design goal.
I have been holding off upgrading Artisteer in anticipation of upgrading to nicepage.
Thank you,
Ken

Thank you all for your input. We'll consider your suggestions. But actually Artisteer and Nicepage have very different structure. Nicepage is really very simple and you would be able to easily recreate the themes you had in Artisteer. Just try the demo version to see yourself.
Sincerely,
Hella
Humm, so simple that I should match color, texture, button look, frame size, and etc. by eyeball all while learning a new program?
Sorry,
Ken

As I said before, programs are completely different and the export format is also completely different and that's why our developers are not sure that they could be able to convert the Artisteer type of export into the Nicepage theme.

Tried the URL method. Disaster.
I am here due to Artisteer. Never figured out Themler. Agree Artisteer obviously became dated.
Maybe some kind of workaround export from Artisteer to some type of other standard and then reimport that to Nice Page is possible?

I'm disappointed that NicePage would not have considered it a REQUIREMENT to import Artisteer .artx files to instantly acquire Artisteer devotees.
Also missing is the ability to export to PHP (rather than HTML) to maintain compatibility with Artister sites that have added customized PHP content to the templates.
Perhaps you would consider creating a team of community members, bound by a non-disclosure agreement, with access to .artx and (NewPage) export file formats to possibly work on a conversion tool?

Also bought NicePage under the impression that it would open artx files.
Tried the import from url. Not great. Especially when website content have grown over the years to many pages of content.
I get that it might be a great platform for new projects, but very disappointed you can't just upload artisteer files especially when all my past projects are artx.

Otherwise, there is still a big advantage to keep using artisteer which is still a great website layout designer even though it is becoming dated.

Otherwise, I remain faithful to Artisteer.

Like others, I have many sites with Artisteer templates and an easy upgrade to Nicepage would REALLY help!Like those above I LOVE Artisteer and tried Themler, but it never worked right for me. I do most of my work offline and then connect to the internet to import my updates. I check the live version for errors. Make any corrections and get offline. This helps me avoid distractions such as social media.
I also have a lot of sites built in Artisteer, like many othersthathave posted,. However, most of my themes have years of blog posts stored inside the theme, as an easy backup and restore option. My clients love this because they don't have to worry about failed database updates. They can just reload the theme if necessary. So for me just recreating everything in Nicepage isn't that simple.

At least the importer could simply parse files by type, collecting all images with tags and placing them on new theme accordingly. That would be a huge timesaver.
But love it otherwise!!! AAA
Agreed import a joomla template zip file is an absolute must.
