Ask a Question

Hi,

had lots of issues regarding the formatting of the Shopping Cart page (changing colors of some buttons and others).
I have mentioned some in the screenshot attached.

Just play around with changing colors, fonts, borders, hover functions... and you should find bugs in all tWoocomerce presets.

And - not directly related - but important:
please add some more modern presents of the "Woocommerce pages" - these are quite rudimentary...

Thank you!

Hi,
the formatting of the Shopping Cart Page is full of bugs.

Please see the attachment.

The project is the same - uploaded yesterday (zip file in the post above).

I'm in a hurry-must finish this by Thursday - and the only think that it bugs me are these issues and Product Template page issues (question is linked in the post above).

Thank you in advance for your help!
BR, Sinisa

Hi,

Could you please try changing the Shopping Cart Preset on the right-side panel? Both presets include capitalized button text. We'll check what happens with buttons in this specific project. Buttons in the new project work ok.

Hi Olivia,
I have managed to capitalize BUTTONS in the SHOPPING CART preset.

Let me tell you how I do it:

1- Went to the Theme Colors & Fonts setup;
2 - Found the BUTTON object;
3 - Capitalize the BUTTON caption there
4 - Save & EXIT the Nicepage;
5 - OPEN Nicepage and the settings were all right...

Oliva - pls. try to fix this in the next program update - thank you!

So, it didn't worked by directly changing the caption from small to capitalize lettering - I had to do it in the general Theme preset settings (& by saving & exeting the program).

Olivia, I have still one more thing which bugs me - pls. see my question on the link below:

Hi Sinisa,

Our developers will check this project.

In general, your solution is ok in case you want all website buttons to have capitalized text by default as these are general theme options.

I have still one more thing which bugs me - pls. see my question on the link below:

This issue happens because the Add To Cart button and Product Variation belong to one form on the Woocommerce Product Details Template. Therefore, these two elements cannot be displayed separately.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Olivia,
thank you for the reply!

Olivia - I think that the ADD TO CART button and the PRODUCT VARIATIONS BOX are on the SAME FORM!

I have used the default Nicepage template - all I did was change their respective positions & color.
I have not moved any of the object outside of the form (at least, I hope haven't).

Regarding the PRODUCT DETAILS TEMPLATE page, I want that it looks like on the screen shot attached.
(I have manually aligned the objects)

The problem is when I test it on my LOCAL XAMPP server - the boxes (Product title, The price, Variations...) are shifting places (i.e. the description-text goes above the Price and so on...) and alignment goes "out of the window" .

I have analyzed why this would be the case - and concluded that The Price box has a strange negative top margin (T= -383), and most of the other boxes (text-description, variation box...) are having NORMAL positive top margins). Also, ADD TO CART button has a negative top-margin value (-49).

This margin-issues could produce an error that I write about above.

Olivia, for your reference - I have attached the complete project as well.

Thank you for any help!

KR, Sinisa

Hi Sinisa,

Margin has no relation to the order of elements in the page HTML structure.
Product variations and add to cart button are inside one form:

variations-form.png

This is standard layout for Woocommerce. Otherwise, variations will not work. The same layout you can see with the standard WP 2022 theme.
Therefore, the Product Variations can be located somewhere near the Add To Cart button. If you adjust the layout according to the Woocommerce requirements, the product details page will look ok.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Olivia,

thank you for your reply!
I have - after hours of messing up with this issue - finally solved it.

I have put the elements:
Product Name, Price, Product variations, quantity, Add to cart button... all in the SAME BOX.

Only the PRODUCT IMAGE is outside this new-added BOX element .

Now the elements are positioned as I wanted it.

Please check the screen-shot attached from my live local website.

Otherwise formatting those elements the way I wanted to look in the live Woocommerce site was a total nightmare!
